Architectural Joinery and Bespoke Period Oak Joinery
Deacon & Sandys are designers and suppliers of traditional period style interiors and bespoke period joinery. We specialise in all aspects of architectural joinery as well as creating elements for contemporary and new timber frame buildings.
Our previous architectural joinery projects have included the following:
- Classic exterior and interior doors, including 16th and 17th century planked and panelled examples with moulded framework, hand carving, chamfered cleats and hand forged nails and ironwork.
- Flights of staircases with elements including hand carved and faceted newel posts, fretted splats, hand turned double baluster spindles and moulded strings and handrails.
- Distressed random width floorboards to transform interiors and create rooms with natural warmth.
- Styles of panelling ranging from plain with scratch moulded rails or optional hand carved friezes, 17th century style geometric with applied mouldings to 16th century style linenfold.
