Beautiful Oak Panelled Rooms Completely Transformed

For a lovely property in Northumberland we created two beautiful oak panelled rooms with oak cornice and skirting.

The solid oak wall panelling was hand worked using traditional methods of mortice and tenon with oak dowels, hand coloured and finished in our Kent workshop and fitted by ourselves.

The project also included solid oak overlay floor boards, a hand made panelled overmantle with large mouldings and radiator covers with traditional French Cane panels, a window seat for the bay windows was made for both rooms.

In addition window shutters were also made in solid oak for some of the ground floor windows.

The photos look great but still don’t do justice to how beautiful and impressive these rooms looked finished.
