A pair of Solid Oak Boarded Exterior Doors and Frame with Hand Made Ironmongery

We were commissioned to make these oak ledged doors and frames using character grade wood. The heavy sectioned oak frames are stop moulded and have hand carved spandrels, the glazed doors have a very heavy sectioned oak frame.The solid oak ledged doors are of a boarded construction with ledges and held together with rosehead nails with the joints covered by moulded strips.The bespoke ironmongery was made by a local blacksmith and all the oak ledged doors were fitted by ourselves.
