Period Pitch Pine Door Restoration

This door was removed from a listed property in Gloucestershire and brought back to our workshop in Rolvenden, Kent to be assessed for its suitability for repair or restoration, because of previous repairs and the overall very poor state, the door was beyond practical and economical repair.

As this door is from a listed building, period timber was sourced, in this case Pitch Pine, the door and its mouldings were matched and the Rim Lock was expertly refurbished. 

The inside of the door was colour matched to the original and finished with a traditional French Polish and waxed.

Once taken back to site the door will be fitted by ourselves, the outside will be painted to match the existing estate colours. The finished product will now last for many years to come.
