Solid Oak Dressers and Cupboards

Deacon & Sandys design and make traditional English furniture in solid oak.

Designs range from an early 17th century style Court Cupboard intricately carved with walnut and sycamore inlay to an elegant Pot Board Dresser and many variations of a Joined Low Dresser and Joined Welsh Cupboard Dresser. Cupboards include a 17th century style Joined Linen Press with strap carving to the doors and a 17th century style Joined Oak Clothes Press with hand carved lozenge panels.

Each piece of furniture is hand distressed and coloured and can be adapted to suit a client's measurements. Individual commissions are regularly undertaken.

Deacon & Sandys design and build complete interiors schemes to include carved oak wall panelling, oak staircases, interior and exterior doors and random width oak floors.
