Architectural Joinery: Expert Construction With Traditional Joinery Methods

Our architectural joinery workshops are at the very heart of our business, employing a skilled and experienced team of joiners and cabinet makers using traditional joinery and carving methods.

We specialise in creating authentic 16th and 17th century styled bespoke joinery as well as exceptional restoration services. This means we utilise many of the traditional joinery methods and tools of the period as well as hand crafting, hand carving and hand colouring our pieces for stunning end results.

Building primarily in oak we occasionally produce pieces in mahogany and other woods as well. All wood is carefully sourced in standard cuts as well as character and uneven cuts for architectural joinery and furniture that really deserves a period feel.

The various pieces we produce are all distinguished from the rest of the market not just by their superior quality of design and construction, but also in the traditional joinery methods and craftsmanship.

Mortice and tenon joints are fixed with wooden nails and pegs and our joiners and carvers can add any amount of period detailing from finely styled table legs to exquisite hand carving across the piece.

Our range of joinery, carpentry and wood crafting services include:

  • Bespoke architectural joinery of all kinds
  • Bespoke crafted timber furniture of all kinds
  • Beautiful specialist hand carving of any piece, features and door furniture
  • Authentic distressing, ageing and antiquing
